The Intrepid Jerry Will Begin Transiting the Panama Canal at 4:30 AM Sunday Morning!
Jerry is so excited his arms are going 8 ways at once! Luckily he has practiced his bowlines and is ready to go!
We were assigned the one-day transit. This means that Mel, Greg, and Jeremy will awaken around 3:30 AM and get ready for 12 hours of somewhat high-stakes thinking and physical activity. The neurologist manifestation of Mel is not ruffled by this assignment, as 3:30 AM is the “Seizing and Stroking Hour”, when she was typically up anyway, guiding a resident through critical decisions, when on call.
This time, however, she should have a lot more fun.
Let’s do this!

Love not have in my message above.
I have your bowline knot and AI critter knot! Recovering from right ptosis surgery. I take it. The Panama transit means you’ll be traveling the pacific? Heading north in the pacific or south? Perhaps you’ve already covered this in previous posts so you could redirect me if that is the case.
Good luck!!!!
Enjoy!
We did the Panama Canal last year but we were in a Viking ocean vessel. I loved the wildlife.

Cool! The tourboat we went through with was packed — seems to be a popular thing to do. It is truly a unique experience!
