Oct 7, 2025. 45 nm in 6.5 hours maybe. This averages to about 7 kts. Nice downwind sail in up to 20 kts of true wind. Cold as fuck. Motorsailed on just the jib near the end when the wind got too far behind us. Greg wanted to use the spinnaker, but our headsets broke and we did not want to do our first hoist with poor communication. Mel is afraid of the spinnaker, you see, and needs spinnaker exposure therapy first. Instead we sailed on main and jib with a preventer on the main and an outhaul? (not sure what to call it) holding the jib out, attached to the midship cleat.

A nice little spot to spend a day on a ball. Town is a bit sketch in the off-season. Heard many sirens ashore. Big trailer park in town.
