The Burnetts are still in a bit of a post-offshore daze. The technical term for this is “secondary adrenal insufficiency” that resulted from a week of unusually high endogenous cortisol production. But Mel will call this “a daze.” Don’t want to intimidate people.
We have spent our time doing a few boat fixes, touring around beautiful Horta, and hanging out with our boat buddies from ZigZag. I will post soon some pics of land, but here are some pics of our crossing. A video will be coming as soon as Mel can stay awake long enough to edit it. We will be leaving Faial on Saturday for Sao Miguel, a sail of less than 24 hours. Enjoy the pics!
